Tail of the Dragon

With 318 curves and a fearsome reputation, this zigzagging section of road is bordered by the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. With all of its twists and curves, you will not have a lot of time to look around, as this road demands all of your attention. The Dragon Tail is only an 11-mile (18 km) section of US 129, but its curves are not to be taken lightly.
